These oversized Shawl Green Lemon are handwoven on a foot-loom by women weavers in the Highlands of Guatemala.

They are members of the Mayan cooperative Kem Ajachel. These fairtrade cooperative consist of 70 skillful women artisans. 

Because of its size, it takes about 3 workdays to 6 masterweavers to make one of these gorgeous oversized shawls.

With your purchase you are helping these Mayan weavers to support their household economy, send their children to school and to protect their precious weaving traditions.
